Tyler, you are 16 weeks old today! I am looking at pictures of you when we first brought you home and cannot believe how much you have changed!!!! You are such a joy in our lives!!! I have always dreamed of being a mom, but this dream come true is so much better than I expected!!! I am so in love with you!!! You are becoming sweeter and sweeter each and every day!!! You are constantly looking around and checking everything around you out. You love to chew on everything..especially your fingers (and ours ha!) Everything goes in your mouth these days...I really believe you are starting the teething process. We are letting you explore with new toys...your cousin Amber just gave you a huge basket full of toys to play with that were Hayden and Sawyer's. Thank you so much Amber for letting us borrow them! We will have so much fun with them!!! It was like Christmas this past weekend bringing them all home for you! She took such great care of their things...everything is like brand new...especially after a little soap and water!!! Your Daddy thought I was crazy when I said you needed more toys, but you're a baby and you get bored of things after a while..we have to keep it interesting! So he gave in and let me bring them home! I told them they were free...so how could we turn them down ha!!! What else have you been up to? Your cousins Alexander and Ethan, just got done visiting for a week! Aunt Jessica and Uncle Michael traveled to Italy and they got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa! You love those boys! They must entertain you. We are going to miss getting to play with them everyday! You are really starting to smile more and more and jabber, especially when chewing on your fingers! Your Daddy and I sure do get some laughs in when we just sit and watch you! ;-) Last night we couldn't believe how much you loved looking at the Ipad...your cousin Alex loved it too...it must be all of the bright colors on the screen! You are still eating about 6 ounces every 3 hours. You still spit up, but you never cry when you do! You go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for your 4 month check up and shots. I am not looking forward to that. Tomorrow we are having your 4 month pictures taken. I really hope you are your happy, smiling self. We scheduled them for the morning because that seems to be when you are happiest! You are so smiley right after you wake up! You still love taking a bath, I think it relaxes you! We are still working on you loving going for a walk everytime. Sometimes you love it and sometimes you hate that stroller...same thing with car rides! We don't take you far because the car is not your favorite place. You are still sleeping every night all night long. However, sometimes you like to fight going down for the night and the only thing that seems to calm you is to undress you down to your diaper. I have a feeling you are going to love summer when you don't have to wear long pants or socks! Mommy is so excited because only 4 more days and I am off with you for the whole summer! Next Thursday afternoon will be such a happy day for Mommy! I heard a song on the Christian radio station yesterday and it said everything I feel for you...the main thing is as your mommy I want to show you how to love and what love is and what it feels like to be loved! We love you Tyler Marie...more than words could ever describe!!!

Tyler, you were 3 months old on Thursday, April 28, 2011. This was the first special day for you that I was not with you. :-( It was tough on me, but we took pictures once I was home! You were 13 weeks old, the very next day. This past Friday, May 6th you were 14 weeks old! You are really changing everyday still. You continue to laugh and smile more and more. You babble and love to chew on your fist and fingers. You like to drive your mommy and daddy crazy because now you have started to suck on your thumb! We have a constant fight taking your thumb out of your mouth and giving you the pacifier instead. I don't want you to be a thumb sucker for many reasons, and I know you wouldn't want to be once you are older either! We have found you rolled over from your stomach to your back in your crib several times again, but we still have never seen you actually do it! You are really like your toys more and more too! You will grasp them when we give them to you and try to chew on them. You love the links currently, your teether ring, the O ball, your burp cloths :-) , and of course your fingers!!!
